The church in Stenseleis rumoured to be the largest wooden church in Sweden. Built towards the end of the 19th century, it was designed to fit all 2000 inhabitants of the parish.
The church houses one of the best preserved Queen Kristina bibles from the 1600s. It also has the world’s tiniest bible, smaller than a stamp.
